the transition from dusk to darkness in the canyon is mysterious and surreal.
intense silence fills the walls as stars slowly reveal themselves overhead.
only an outline of the rim remains as night engulfs the land.

lower antelope canyon drops below desert basin crust on the leechee chapter of navajo nation land. harsh haze cools as you descend into stillness. sunlight trickles overhead to reveal sculpted, sandstone shapes beneath. hypnotic my journey and meditative my navigation through this submerged, soulful space.
